What's been going on lately:

Hey all... and by all I mean anyone who might actually read this. I figured I'd write up an update about what I've been doing lately with my life. It's pretty exciting =)

This summer, I was accepted into a study abroad program in Ireland. So I've been spending the past two weeks in living in Dublin and traveling out of the city on the weekends. Yesterday we reached the halfway point for our program, which is actually kinda sad. I wish I could stay here for much longer, but they've only given us four weeks. Up until this point, it didn't seem like to workload would be too bad, but the past few days have been brutal. I'm practically falling asleep as I write this. On the plus side, I've gotten to see a lot of Ireland, and I've learned a lot about the culture and the people. I'm having a blast, and I can't believe I've been so lucky as to actually make it here.

Also- I am such an internet stalker. It's actually kinda sad. So here's the story: Last weekend, a bunch of us took a bus tour through the south/west of Ireland. We spent one night in the city of Galway, which was a lot of fun. I was driving people crazy taking pictures of all the "Colleran" signs I could find. We went to a couple of different pubs, and the first one was by far my favorite. It was called Tigh Coilis, and it's said to be the home of traditional music in Galway. We were hanging out in there for a while, and then these three guys came in. Apparently we were sitting in the "musician corner" so we had to get up to let them play. Turns out- they were awesome! I loved the guy playing the banjo. Soooooo hot. So, to get to the point of this story, after we got back from the weekend, I looked up the band, got on myspace, found them there, and then, since i was bored, tracked a couple of them down on facebook. Don't worry, I didn't try to add them as friends on facebook, that would just be suuuuper creepy. Though I did add them on myspace and send them a message. I though they should know who that girl was that started step-dancing in the pub that night.... yea, that totally happened.
